there were about a dozen messages, including my own first contribution, none
of which mentioned looking into the JAWS help, or even the what's new in
JAWS9 - or looking more extensively in the JAWS verbosity options, which
would have shed light directly on the issue. My comment was not directed at
anyone in particular, or even any group in particular. I also suggested a
solution, even if it is a provisional one. there would still be a need for
a list such as this, after all the help documentation had been read and
combed for clues to some of the interaction problems between JAWS and other
programs. JAWS isn't perfect, and probably never will be. Many other
computer programs are similarly imperfect.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Completely Unfair Comment

I'm sorry, but this comment was wholly unfair, and completely uncalled for.

Whether people choose to investigate the documentation or not before they
come to the list, that's neither here nor there.

If people checked out the documentation first then there would be no need
for a list such as this because people would have all the answers.

I think an apology is in order, and I don't think I'm wrong here.
