Unless you have changed the default setup in Outlook, all messages and folders are stored in the default outlook.pst file.
Have you checked your deleted items folder for your deleted folder? Your deleted folder should be there unless you emptied your deleted items folder. In that case, your deleted folder is gone and you won't be able to get it back. Using that file recovery won't help since the outlook.pst file was not deleted.
