hi karen,
for me it has definately been worth it. I don't know what i would do without a computer and the internet. mind you i do not even use a pc for work, just for fun really. but the load of information and leisure and making things easier in daily life fior me is a blessing. worth every hour spend to learn jaws and all that goes with it.i can order food, i can do my banking, i can order groceries eaasily, i can play games, read books, listen to music and talk to people all over the world via messenger and email, all with just a few keystrokes. to me internet and computers is one of the best things ever happened to blind folks or any person with a disability.
regards
chrissy

Subject: [JAWS-Users] my questions: about Jaws and the computer:

Hello: a quick question. David or Rick can decide whether this should be discussed here or not, but my question is this. Think back about when you first learned Jaws and the computer, and I want to ask this question: Was it worth it?
