Victor,
Personally, I believe your logic is flawed. First, XP support will be
discontinued in a couple of years. Second, drivers for 64-bit XP and
applications that support 64-bit XP are rare. And third, when
individuals buy a computer, it comes with Vista, and not XP, hence
putting resources on a product that maybe two or three people would end
up using is silly to me. And, as you said yourself, if you want 64-bit
windows, you'll have to buy it. Can you give me a few places that will
sell you XP 64-bit?
Thanks

Hi Eric,

True, most people got 32 bit editions of Windows, but you have to
admit, at the time, they had no other choice, as Jaws didn't support
64 bit editions.
I had a great opportunity to purchase my last brand new computer last
month with a 64 bit edition of Windows, being run on a Quad core
processor, but couldn't get it, because Jaws didn't support that
version of Windows, so I've got a great quad core processor that is
being unutilized specifically because of that.
I can still purchase the 64 bit edition of Windows and enjoy that
version, if I so choose, but now you're saying that I can't, because
FS is choosing not to concentrate on that aspect, because everyone has
bought the 32 bit edition.
Personally, I think this is unfair, and kind of discriminates against
those who have sworn off Vista forever. Smile.
No offence. Grins.
