And, if you'd like to use an easier to use interface. Use wordpress.com's
mobile site. Witch cuts out all of the clutter, or there's always
blogger.com which you are able to post from your email client by sending an
email to post on your blog. You can also post with text messages using
blogger.com as well. However, I have found wordpress.com much easier to use
than blogger.com, and there are many more things that you are able to do to
configure your blog. It is limited however in that you are not able to post
via email or text message. Typepad.com is also jaws friendly, however you do
have to pay for this service.

Wordpress standalone is for domains, if you had a windows server setup
with IIS and your own domain name, you'd be able to set it up no problem,
otherwise you can access it through the web and have the folks at
wordpress hoste it on their servers for you, which is free by the way.

I don't think it is a desktop application though. I've tried to set it up
but I think I have to have a domain, and I really don't wonna do that.
