It largely depends on what sort of .pdf you are reading, whether JAWS can deal with it comfortably or not. You can modify some settings in the Reading panel, i.e., reducing the number of pages visible from 10 to 1, and if your pdf documents are usually large changing what Adobe Reader thinks of as a large document from 50 pages to, say, 10, as well as modifying accessibility settings (if links are not visible, etc.) So depends on the type of pdf document oand whether it was tagged or not. If it wasn't, Adobe Reader will attempt to tag it and it may have problems doing so. . JAWS is not the main problem here.
