Hi Clifford. Omnipage 16 is fully accessible with Jaws, but it is a very advanced ocr program, so how user friendly it is, is a question of understanding the settings interface. The program exists in two versions, a standard version and a Professional version, the last one is for though who wants to create audio books directly from the scanned material.
Best regards from Hans Pauli. ----- Oprindelig meddelelse ----- Fra: "Blackwell, Clifford" <[email protected]> Til: <[email protected]> Sendt: 31. marts 2009 20:51 Emne: [JAWS-Users] Accessibility of Omnipage 16 Is Omnipage 16 accessible with Jaws? I need a scanning/ocr program for scanning pictures and other visual documents to be sent to others. Open Book and Kurzweil might work, but aren't really intended for such things. If there are problems using Omnipage 16, are there other scanning programs that would suit my purposes? Thanks.
