That shouldn't be a reason to fix bugs! At over $1000 and 180 to 200 a SMA.
customer satisfaction should be the goal, not profit!
But hay the majority are use to bugs and paying for it.
So bring on verssion11, maybe the up dater will be fixed.

But if you're willing to cough up the bread to update your SMA,
maybe they'll fix the problem in JAWS 11.

However, my point is that they've broken something in jaws 10 and they're
obviously not interested in fixing it

Hi Alex & everyone,
JAWS 10 announces how many messages are in each folder as I arrow down the
Navigation pane in Outlook 2007. I'm not sure why it doesn't work when the
Navigation pane is set to Normal view, but you could do the following:
Go to the VIEW tab and press N to open the Navigation submenu. Set the
Navigation pane to off.
When you want to use the Navigation pane, press Control Y. The pane will
appear and announce the number of messages correctly as you arrow down the
list.
When you enter on a folder, the pane will disappear until you Control Y it
again.
I like this method because it reduces clutter.

I have an outlook problem which has existed in jaws 10 since the first
beta
was released mid last year some time. In Outlook, it doesn't matter which
version, as I have 2003 at work and 2007 at home, jaws won't tell you how
many unread messages there are in a folder when you're arrowing through
the
navigation pain. I reported this in the beta process and I've reported it
as
a bug since, and it never gets fixed. It works fine in jaws 9. Also, the
information is shown in Braille, but not spoken. We're now on at least our
third or fourth jaws 10 release and they still won't fix it!
Cheers
Alex
