I was wondering the same thing but have read on user lists a couple of times
that the multi-functions generally do not do well.  Perhaps the scanning
software makes a difference- in other words, perhaps the remarks were not
JAWS-specific, but may have referred to using Kurzweil with the printer
unit.  I hope that someone will comment.
