Thank you - tried it but no luck! Heard everything just fine arrowing down the text, but when arrow back up words disappeared or parts of word = t not than or the. This continues no matter which way up or down thru the document which is not long. more info , under view menu checked items are: normal , ruler, markup sub menu toolbar, checked items are: standard, formatting, auto text, reviewing. The remaining items are not checked. This is happening in all my word documents, very frustrating! Your help is much appreciated.
