Keep in mind that this is assuming that her income, or, at least, the 1000 is only 33% of her net monthly income, or household income, otherwise no normal bank will approve you. One option you could go for is to check online with one of the major commercial banks, as they will usually have a mortgage calculator on their sites that are usually very Jaws friendly. One place you might also try is HUD's website, as I believe they have a mortgage calculator on their site, and it's accessible. Another thing you may want to look for is HUD's programs for people with disabilities, as they have tonnes of discounts and grants for people with disabilities that you can apply for, and this will affect the amount of mortgage you will pay every month, and lower the amount you will borrow also.
