Hi Riana,
First of all, thank you for replying my query.
Yes, I did this procedure, I selected the spot exactly where JAWS says the
symbol, but after replacing with nothing, it deletes all the spaces, which
makes the words go together.
If I replace it with space, it creates two spaces between words.

Hello Estelita,
When editing a document in Ms Word, or even notepad, it works to:
1. select that nonbreaking space symbol with shift and the curser key,
2. Copy it to the clipboard with control with c,
3. Go to the top of the document and use
4. the find and replace command (control with h) to
5. Paste the character in the find field,
6. Leave the "replace with" field blank and
7. tab down to the "replace all" field,
8. where you press enter.
All the relevant symbols will then be deleted throughout your document.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Riana

Subject: [JAWS-Users] nonbreaking space
Hi listers,
I wonder if there's a key command to get rid this nonbreaking space sign
please?
I am doing editing and somehow JAWS says "nonbreaking space". I press
backspace to delete, but it's tiring when there are lots of them in a
long
document.
Your instruction is very much appreciated, thank you.
Estelita
