Hello,

In notepad when opening the find and replace edit box, you are correct
that the initial option one gets is only replace, but if one has
replaced once with whatever you choose, you can get the option to
replace all by tabbing down.

But in notepad, one doesn't have that extended options to choose "more"
where the special characters option could be found in word.

If one uses openbook or kurzweil to edit, the replace all option is
also available.

Perhaps it could work to try to replace the nonbreaking space with a
total different character like ~ and thereafter to replace that with one
space?

Riana

The Find/Replace dialog doesn't work like that in notepad, nor are such
special formatting characters recognised there.
