How does a person configure the MSE fire wall to allow windows mail to access the web and download the E-Mail?

I wonder does anybody know if this works with any existing anti malware or
anti virus commercial applications like AVG installed? It is not clear on
the Microsoft page.
Commercial Anti- virus programs normally do not like being installed at the
same time as another anti-virus program.

Microsoft Security Essentials, for public download. Has anyone tried it
out yet during the beta testing cycle?  Is it really JAWS-friendly and
easy to use? Based on the overwhelmingly positive preliminary reviews, it

looks like MS has hit a home run.  If MSE is truly JAWS accessible, it
sounds like a great alternative to the free versions of AVG and Avast. If
