Hi everyone, I have been using flash drives on my personal computers and my school district computers for yearrs and have had no problem whatsoever. This also includes a hard drive I once used, and my printer/scanner. I did the following:
1. If possible, select a USB port that you always want to use for the flash drive. 2. Always wait for the windows sound to know that the computer is recognizing your drive 3. When finished, exit all used programs, including windows explorer before disconnecting the external USB device. 4. When disconnecting your USB device, wait for the windows sound before continuing with your next task.
