You could be opening a whole can of worms here with this one cliff! smile.

There is however at least one smaller way to compress your audio, and that's via Ogg Vorbis.

It really depends how much you care about the quality of the final product, some folks are very very particular, but for the most part Ogg Vorbis is a tighter compression than MP3.
