Hi Kimsan,
I forgot to add that if Jaws asks' if you want to uninstall shared
components, choose " NO !"

Hi Kimsan,
That's how I did it this morning. While running /using Jaws10 I ran
the
repair on Jaws11.

Hi Kimsan,
Do you have another version of Jaws that you can run instead of Jaws
11?
What I mean is Close Jaws 11 and open Jaws 10 for example, then run
the
Jaws11 repair. I know that a Jaws11 repair can be done in XP because
I did
it this morning with Jaws 10 running but, not having knowledge of
other
operating systems I can't comment. Also, running a repair or another
install on the same machine will not count as another installation.
Take
care.
Mike

Mike:
That did not work. I downloaded and saved it. When clicking on run it
said
it could not continue the process because there is another version
running
and could not continue until I removed the current version of jaws
that I
have, which is the same you sent me. There was no options for repair
or
anything like that.

Hi Kimsan,
Click on the link below to download the Jaws version you want.
ftp://ftp.freedomscientific.com/users/hj/private/WebFiles/JAWS/J11.0.756-64b
it.exe
Don't run this yet but, save the download somewhere on your harddrive
and
once you have it saved, run the program from there. Once you start
the
process you will be given the choices of modify, repair, or remove.
Tab to
repair and press enter. If another " repair " option pops up, press
enter
on that option also, then just follow the prompts to the finish. Hope
this
helps. Take care.
Mike

Hi Rick:
Yes, I have jaws 11 for the 64 bit version with the latest build,
11.756.
I can't do a jaws repair without the DVD right? I can't figure out how
to
fix it for the life of me, I've looked everywhere.

Hi Kimsan,
Have you downloaded and installed the latest version of Jaws 11?
If not, doing so may clear up some problems.
HTH,

Hi,
Since nobody can't answer my question that I posted twice I was
wondering
how do I perform a jaws repair with jaws 11?
Just to review, I previously asked how come after logging into windows
and
accessing the system tray jaws says unselected and nothing functions
correctly.
The only way I can get it to work is by turning off jaws
and
then turning it back on.
