I've tried unloading 11 and running 9, but the same thing happens. I'll try
setting my JAWS 9 to load at start up and start from scratch to see what
happens. I didn't have this problem with either 11 or 9 until recently, and
I'm not sure what an invalid argument means. JAWS won't read the text with
either the JAWS curser or by virtualizing the window, so I can't see the
error message.

Vickie,

Have you tried unloading Jaws 11 and retrying the on demand
scan with 9?

What version of windows are you running?

I ask only because I am running NOD-32, Windows XP-Pro and
Jaws 9.latest and everything works perfectly.

I am having a problem doing an on-demand scan with the
latest version of
JAWS and Nod32.

It stops at 27% with a string of invalid argument windows
that seem to be
related to JAWS. Once I can get out of the windows by
pressing ok, I get an
error message to send to Freedom Scientific, and whether or
not I choose to
send or decline, JAWS crashes. I then reload it or JAWS 9,
and the same
thing happens over again. I try to restart the computer, and
I have to shut
it down manually because it gets stuck somewhere. Since I
have no speech,
I'm not sure what is going on at that point. I only know the
computer will
not shut down on its own.

Has anyone had trouble with JAWS 11 and Nod32 and are there
any suggestions
for why the invalid argument is showing up and what to do
about it?

Thanks.
