It appears to me that Microsoft releases new MSE definition files
periodically during the day. While this is good I suppose, they need to fix
some updating connection issues. The dern thing takes to long to update and
it crashes before it finishes often stating something like "make sure you
are connected." I Have a broadband connection and when I check to see if I
can go to my homepage I don't have any problems doing so. Lastly,
coincidence maybe but my winamp won't open anymore and I get an installer
error message when I try to reinstall it. I am going to get a fresh copy
from winamp let's see what happens then. MSE didn't effect Windows Media
Player though! Now I wonder why? (smile)

The history only appears if it found an infection.

Chris, thanks for the tip on arrowing through those buttons. The only
thing
that results in nothing is history so how can I view the history?

: 1. Open mSSE.
: 2. Right arrow from the home button. You will see history, settings,
: help, etc. These are really tabs, but JAWS thinks they are buttons.
: 3. Once you focus on the correct button, tab around the screen. For
: example if you right arrow to the settings button you will see a list
of
: categories, and options relating to that category.
: Hope this gets you started.

would
stop at certain percentages during the installation. After about three or

friendly right out of the box. And of course the best part is that it is
free. I can use the scheduler, and decide if I want a full or quick scann
easily. However, what I don't seem to be able to locate is settings or
options. I am not needing to change anything right away but I would like
to
know how to do that in the future.
