i got my recicle bin at the top to, and if I go down the right side I have it in alphabetical order, and the left side, is not so not sure, susie

So if I were to follow davids steps what should be at the top?
When I press home to go to the top, it says recycling bin, from the
recycling bin, and down arrow once it says adobe reader and to the right of 
the recycling bin, it says qwitter.
How is this in a list form? And alphabetical?

It does not seem to be working for me either. I have XP. It doesn't show

Interesting, I stand corrected. Now I have to wonder why Microsoft would
change something so minor as that. It works in XP so it seemed logical

the steps given won't work with windows 7.


using windows 7, you first need to;


ctrl+spacebar, to unselect the desktop icon which is selected.
no? pressing f5 doesn't work.
next, press, the applications key,
now, you can, press the letter O, to sort by name, or, down arrow to
other
choices.

Alphabetizing your desktop is done as follows:

1. Focus on your desktop.
2. Press your F5 key once.
3. Hit your applications key.
4. Hit the letter I.
5. Hit the letter N.

I am not sure if you can put your desk top in a list view or not I just
tried to do it, and there was know responce as for moving the icons into
alphabetical order, not sure if there is A JAWS way, I just moved them
with
the mouse, or had my daughter play with them, so sorry I was know help

How would I set up my desktop in a listview?

               I'm using windows seven, 64 bit machine and jfw 11.

Also is it possible to arrange the ICONS in alphabetical order from top
