I was just out looking at a few more computers. There is another shop that has a custom built system. This one has a 6 channel sound card. With windows 7 he told me that different applications can be routed to different channels. Thinking about that could jaws be routed to one channel andeverything else to another with two sets of speakers? I would like to use one set for jaws and be able to turn the other down or off. Other than jaws and openbook I really do not need all of that power.I think an old xt would actually do most of my needs. I do think that my grandson would have a problem with that.
