Hi Jim; Your idea is a good one but, that will involve a lot of copying & pasting from the text editor of choice and the new address book entry to fill in all the individual boxes. What I have been doing is as follows;
1. Updating 1 identity with the new entry or multiple new entries. 2. Going to Local Disk C, Documents & Settings, name folder, applications, Microsoft, & address book. 3. In the address book I open the Mike.wab file and make sure it is updated. 4. If Mike.wab is updated with the new entries I close it and copy it to My Documents. 5. Now I delete both the Mike.wab files in the Microsoft address book. 6. I copy the Mike.wab file in the My Documents folder. 7. I repeat step#2 and paste the newer Mike.wab file into the MS address book and close Documents& Settings. 8. Now when I open either identity in Outlook Express both address books are up to date. Rather than doing all the steps above this is why I was wondering if there was a way to copy whole entries from 1 identity to the other without doing a lot of copying and pasting or retyping of information. Thanks a lot for all of your input. Take care. You need to highlight just the information that you want and copy and paste it into a text editor. The information will then be in plain text and you can edit it as needed. You then have to use this text as best suits your needs.
