Hello Brad, One approach to your read balloon hotkey might be to build a frame to speak.
It would require that the text or balloon that appears would have to appear in a similar part of the screen every time. You could then create a frame to read that area of the screen and use a hotkey to read the frame. I have not created a frame in a while, but if I remember correctly it is not to difficult. Especially if you are going to call tech support anyway, you could have them or some one else to help you create the frame.
