I saw a link to a converter on Microsoft's sight. I forget where exactly
though. Thing of it is that it's for Office 2010.

Unfortunately, the free Adobe Reader does not convert from PDF to MS 
Word.  It converts to text (if the document author has allowed it).

Adobe distributes a free PDF reader "adobe acrobat reader".  It is 
reasonably accessible.
Goto adobe.com and look for the accessibility link.  This may do the 
trick for you.
