It will also close the window, at least it did on mine. now that is not quit, it will stay in background and be a thorn in jaws not letting you get to it.

To remove flash you have to go to adobe  web site and get there remover.
The I button is install and Q button is quit. If you have any
firewalls set and tried this before. You might have blocked it
without knowing it.
