Which version of JAWS is important. From JAWS11 on, only the parallel
port is supported, so from then on it may be parallel-to-USB (or
straight parallel). With JAWS10 and before, the powerBraille is supposed
to work with a serial cable. (Serial-to-USB, as it may be.)

Hi folks, The subject line, pretty much says it all. Are any of you
using a power Braille display with a laptop? If so, did you need to
get some kind of a cord that would convert a serial/parallel unit work
with a USB device?
