Do you have a Usb-to-Parallel or a USB-to-Serial adapter.

I have been trying to get a braille embosser connected to my computer
through an USB adapter and have never actually managed to get the system
to work. So, I am all ears on how to cause the USB adapter to function in
a way that allows the software to talk to the peripheral device.
