if this is a question of the music being played thru a dedicated
sound device, this will depend on the configurability of the Media
Player being used. In winamp, for example, it is quite easy to select
and configure a dedicated sound device. I am not sure about other
media players.
I would still recommend putting jaws on its own sound device rather
than just the music so that jaws's output will not be affected by any
change in the system volume.
Winamp, btw, can be configured to have its volume adjusted separtely
from the widnows system volume.

Placing only the music on a specific sound card might be difficult or rather
not doable. You can dedicate a sound card to jaws very easy as has been
stated.

I believe that she wants to only have the music dedicated to one sound card.

If I understand you correctly you wish to dedicate sound card 1 for jaws and
sound card 2 for everything else. It is most certainly possible because I am
doing it right now, just let me know.

I no longer have access to an xp machine to toy with that.. I do not
believe that it can be done.

I have two sound cards on my XP machine, and wish to make music come
out of one, which I have now and JAWS comes from the other one.
However, the sounds that are made when playing games or the regular
windows sounds such as the boot-up, come out of the one with the
music. I'd like the sounds, besides music, to come out of the one
with JAWS. I wear a headset most of the time, so if I'm playing a
game, I have to have my speakers on as well.
Suggestions?
