Curtis, This is good to know. It certainly does emulate what mike was describing. Hope it solves his problem all together. I'm also wondering if this issue has more to do with what version of Excel one is using? I'm still using Office 2000 but I know mike is using excel 2002

On a standard keyboard it is between the print screen and pause break keys. Pressing the key twice quickly will change the state and JAWS will tell you the new state. Hope this helps. Here is my problem. When I open a, .XLS file, my arrow keys don't work most of the time. I thought that checking the box in the configuration manager for showing the virtual viewer on screen , might have fixed the problem. Although, I don't have the slightest idea what checking that box could have done! If I reboot the computer and open an, .XLS file, then the arrow keys will work.
