Hello Bill, Try changing your virtual cursor options for copying text in the Adjust JAWS options. After selecting the table with f8, use JAWS key V, press the letter V, and use down arrow to the "select and copy" choice. Press spacebar until the option for full content using on screen highlight is selected. Press enter key to save the change. Copy the table and then paste it in Excel. The column headings should be maintained and JAWS will speak all content of each cell as you navigate to it, but column widths and row heights will have to be adjusted.
I hope this works for you. , Take care. Is there a way to have multiple columns filled with data, and maintain the column headings? For example, One web page table I am trying to convert to Excel has 4 columns and 80 rows. The column headings are in row 1. Is it possible to maintain the table structure after it is copied to Excel? Thank you for your assistance. However, I just tried it without changing the document presentation to screen layout, and after pasting, the result when using the simple layout was the same as when using screen layout. Take care. I usually change verbosity when I encounter a table on web because I find it easier to read.
