After fiddling around with google, unfortunately that will be the only way you can spell check your own composed email and not spell check the original message/reply. Of course, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer so I suppose someone with far more smarts than me might interject and tell you other wise. If someone does supply a response that will work, I will be happy cuzz I get tired spell checking other peoples email!:)
