If memory serves me, I think you will need to turn off the preview pain? 1. windows key E, 2. shift tab twice until you hear command module tool bar organize button. 3. Press space bar and a context menu will pop up 4. Arrow down until you get to the layout submenue and press right arrow 5. Up arrow to you hear preview pane and if it is checked, press enter to uncheck it. I'm thinking that will solve the freezing issue. Go ahead and try it.
