Seems like it had to do with that genuine office advantage verification software crapola. *unhappy face* Discussed with Microsoft at that time and was very unhappy that I could not use software I had purchased in any manner and configuration I chose.

After a few hours on the phone with a MS technician, he did get it to allow both Word 2002 and 2007; but every time I change from one to the other it puts me through a little dance.
