Hi Brad and Hans,
I cannot close the program that caused the error since Jaws stopped
working and I cannot get rid of the error message. I have just power
off the computer and started it again to get around the problem.
The audio streaning is causing the problem filling up the virtual
memory and perhaps Jaws was also in virtual memory which may be the
reason why it stopped talking.
Aborting Jaws took care of the problem after my wife got rid of all
the junk on the screen.
I do have a lot of programs running in the background. When I listen
to the next game in two weeks, I am going to close everything that I
have in the system tray before the game starts and hopefully I will
have enough virtual memory to get through three hours of the game.
I suppose increasing the virtual memory could fix the problem?
Anyway, thanks for both of your suggestions.
Take care
Lennie

The first thing I would do is reboot the pc. It sounds like your
memory is getting full. IF you haven't rebooted in a while than now
is agood time. If this isn't the problem than the player your using
to listen to the stream may not be freeing up memory as needed. If
this is the case next time just try closing the program and restarting it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Low on virtual memory
Hi,
I am using windows XP with 3 GB ram with latest Jaws 12.
I was listening live to a NFL football game today on my computer
when I heard a sound, but it didn't sound like the sound you
get with a fatal error.
I lost Jaws and my wife told me that the screen stated a message
low on virtual memory. She closed the screen and after that I got
another message something to do with bector and Internet explorer 8
for which I have no idea what that means.
I don't recall any other problems with IE8 and I had only the home
page of the radio station and a second page for the audio opened.
For what it is worth, here is the URL of the radio station. When I
got the page, I pressed enter on listen live.

Does anyone have any idea what caused the error and what should I
do? Even after my wife got me back to the desktop, Jaws was stilll
not talking. So, I aborted Jaws (insert key+Windows key+F4) and use
the shortcut key to bring back Jaws.
Any help and suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Take care.
Lennie
