As an xp dino, I am not sure of this but does win 7 have a setting to
hide inactive icons in the system tray? I do not know what this would
be called under win7 or if it even exists but under xp, vanishing
icons might be caused by that setting, which under xp is found in the
taskbar properties.
Just a guess! Good luck!

Well, it seems as if jaws is playing hide and seek in the systems tray.
Sometimes it's there and other times not.
I have all the necessary box's checked for it to show there, have
checked it twice,lol.
I installed drop box today and now it's in the tray, but jaws is
not, so I guess it's one of them lil' mysteries no rhyme or reason puzzles?
It's just my sys-tray just seems not right without jaws in it. I do
not like to alt tab and bump into jaws in case someone suggest this..
I'm running the very latest of Jaws 13 on win/7 64 bit ASUS laptop.
Thanks for listening and for any help
