I do translation work and often have to work with accented letters and other
non-English symbols. Below is a cheet sheet I use for such occasions with links
to other resources.

where did you get the symbol, and do you know where one might get a set of

  Ascii codes for such items?

I had a fairly extensive list at one time, including some odd ones most

folks didn't know of, but lost it in a computer crash years ago (the one

that taught me a lesson about backups, secondary hard drives, external

drives and the value of a network computer for the sole provided job of

carrying a secondary copy of everything on ones main computers!)

but when I found my paper listing of the sight, I found it was among the

land of "for sale domain names" and the list of characters was gone !

so anyone who has a good list source please pass it along

Here, Here! In my job, I have to type the Maltese Cross symbol all the

time and would love to add it to the list (the top of the list, actually).

Subject: [JAWS-Users] suggestion for the symnbols dialog

  Hi all

Something I would like to suggest as a new feature for the symbols dialog

  [jaws ke plus 4].

Although this dialog already contains quite a few of the most commonly

  used

symbols, it would be very nice indeed if one could add your own special

symbols to this list. My home language uses quite a few symbols which are

not part of that list. Would be wonderful to be able to add them.

I have no idea how easy this would be to implement!!
