You could say that about a lot of programs. When using a screen
reader some clones work better than the real thing.
Also ben hearing a lot of lists stating that the latest skype don't
or barely works with the scripts and support is not there for help.
With programs that change there interface it is hard to keep up with
scripts in time. People just don't want to wait.

First, there are scripts for Skype, don't know about the latest
version, but I have Skype version 5 something.
Second, the GwSkype program works with any screen reader.
