Hey Gang,
Has anyone been having any problems calling people on GWSkype?
I called a friend that has GWSkype, but he couldn't hear it ringing. He
heard me hang up, but no in coming calls. He tried to call me, but it didn't
ring on my end, and I heard him hang up. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I really like this skype, but if I can't make any calls I'll have to go back
to the other skype.

Interesting, so if I understand correctly people are complaining about a
little advertisement every once in a while. I'm not surprised to be honest.
The program works fine and they made it screen reader independent so don't
look a gift horse in the mouth as the old saying goes.
Personally I know of several people who could benefit from an easier
interface than what is available in Skype. Also obviously I can use either
option but it is nice to work with a program that involves less effort.

This is true, but for me it is a small inconvenience for a very accessible
version of Skype. I am very appreciative and gracious they extended the
offer to us JAWS users.

And I believe the gw skype has some of the usual gw micro crappy advertising
material on it that you can't get rid of.

Why?
First, there are scripts for Skype, don't know about the latest version, but
I have Skype version 5 something.
Second, the GwSkype program works with any screen reader.
