Russ, thanks much and I will check into it.  I have been running
Microsoft Essentials virus protection regularly but it could have got
past it I guess.  I will get some sighted assistance to give me a hand in

I'm willing to bet that this is a virus that you picked up somewhere.
Windows 8 hasn't been released yet, much less announced . I picked up a
virus several months ago for Windows XP Home Essentials 2012 and had to
restore my drive from an image backup. This is one that I hope I'm
completely wrong on and not a variant of the one that I had.
