Hi Riana, I tried reading a Word doc in WordPad yesterday & thought it wouldn't work but, I tried again this morning &, it does work! I just wasn't patient enough yesterday to let Jaws get passed all the hyper text mumbo jumbo stuff! Yesterday I made the same suggestion you made today, had to eat my words, & now, I thank you for getting me to give WordPad another try! Take care. Mike
