contact list

Hello Fred,

You can turn name checking on or off in the outlook mail options. When
focus is in a mail folder use Alt+F followed by Alt+T to bring up the
options. Use down arrow key to move to the Mail options choice. Use
Alt+T
to check or uncheck the automatic name checking feature. The Alt+T will
not
just move the cursor to the checkbox but will change its status from
checked
to unchecked or unchecked to checked. You can use spacebar when focus is
in
the checkbox to do the same. Tab to the OK button and press spacebar.

However, when you hear the entry you want to use while typing in the To,
CC
or BCC fields, you should be able to just press enter key to choose it.
When you press enter key, the Email address you are choosing should be
placed in the field followed by a semicolon and a space so you can start
typing another address or move to other fields and continue working in
the
Email. This should prevent the automatic name checking whether or not
the
check box is checked in the options.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Stopping jaws from saying check names on contact
list

I am using windows 7 and jaws 13.0 with outlook 2010 and anytime I try to
forward a message to myself from the contact list jaws always says check
names and then brings up several names. Is there any way to turn this
feature off? I always know the name I want and I do not want to check
the
list. Thanks much,
