I wouldn't turn off the check names
In outlook;
It sounds like, you may have more than one entry of your email address.
If you have for example, more than one
Fred,
You could also, press ctrl+k this brings up a list of Fred's, or,
David's, etc. then just arrow to the one you want and press enter.

I am using windows 7 and jaws 13.0 with outlook 2010 and anytime I try to
forward a message to myself from the contact list jaws always says check
names and then brings up several names.  Is there any way to turn this
feature off?  I always know the name I want and I do not want to check
the list.  Thanks much,
