What happened was that aafter I wrote that email about the problem, I was
alt tabbing to something and saw the Jaws window open. When I got there, it
asked me if I wanted to exit Jaws and I said yes and was then able to open
it again. But this never happened to me before. Thanks.

Use insert f4. If that doesn't work, alt tab to JAWS, then hit alt f4.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Trying to exit and return to Jaws

Windows 7 latest version Jaws 13, IE 9. Jaws stopped spontaneously reading
the names of my folders in Outlook email so I wanted to exit Jaws and then
return to it because that usually fixes the problem. But when I go to insert
J and then to Exit and press enter, Jaws does not ask me If I want to quit.
It pays no attention. Any suggestions?
