Better yet, unload it completely from windows with windows-insert-f4. You
should hear a beep. Then, you can restart it fresh.

Use insert f4. If that doesn't work, alt tab to JAWS, then hit alt f4.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Trying to exit and return to Jaws

Windows 7 latest version Jaws 13, IE 9. Jaws stopped spontaneously reading
the names of my folders in Outlook email so I wanted to exit Jaws and then
return to it because that usually fixes the problem. But when I go to insert
J and then to Exit and press enter, Jaws does not ask me If I want to quit.
It pays no attention. Any suggestions?

Miriam
