Hi. I am not familiar with burning cds but I did a Google search on imapi and it is something you need to burn cds with. As for the hotfix it almost sounds like a windows update. The reason for the message about closing all applications before proceeding means that you will probably need to reboot the computer after you've finished installing. As for a backup you should always have that.
