David, thanks to you and Kimson as the info you guys sent me was right on
target but jaws tells me in effect that when I created the filter that I
either left out something or made a mistake and will not let me delete
it. I am not good at this so I have not been able to find the problem
but I intend to go back and try some more later. Thanks much

Hello there;

If you want to delete a folder;

1, make sure you're on the folder view,

2, press the applications key, up arrow and enter on;
Delete folder.

Or,
You can,
Use the keystroke;

Kimson, I believe it was the rules and alerts that I couldn't find but I
can't remember for sure. Later on today I will try your info and I will
let
you know how it turns out. Thanks much for your response to my problem.

Hmm, where did you fail?
Let's try it this way.
>From the inbox do alt f and right arrow until you get to the manage rules
and alerts button and press spacebar.
Now tab to the "move down" button and press spacebar.
You will now be in a list of all of your rules, down arrow and press the
delete key on the rule of which you would like to delete and then tab to
apply and tab to ok.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Removing rules and folders

I am using W-7, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I would like to remove
rules and a folder I created but no longer need. This has me baffeled as
I
have tried many times to remove but failed. I have some info that I
have
saved on this but I must have it wrong as I cannot use it. I would
appreciate any help on this.

Thanks much,

FRED ADAMS W4HC
