This will not be of any great help for your problem, but my JAWS does not
remove the UNRD flag on messages if you are just using your cursor to see
what the subjects
Is and not opening the message. There are settings in JAWS that control what
labels (like UNRD) are spoken. So the best you can do would be to go through
the JAWS settings.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] unread email in outlook

Hi all,

Using jaws with virtual ribbons and outlook 2010. I have an issue where when
I arrow through emails, the message says unread, but when I arrow back up
passed previous messages I haven't opened, jaws doesn't say unread anymore.
How do I stop this I only want the message to become read when I press enter
to open the message, not when the cursor lands on it once and moves away.

Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.
