Hi. OK, that's fine. Maybe what is actually on the screne is a capital é so visually it probably is ok. This occurs when I go into my Irish/English dictionary. Here's the effected entry. " Éadrom, Light". JAWS speaks the word correctly, but, when I arrow through the Irish word character by character, JAWS speaks the following: "cap É" "a" "d" "r" "o" "m". I've looked into the jdf file I created to find any entry that would cause JAWS to speak the letter as a capital A but can't find any.

No, you can't alter the ASCII value of a character. You might have changed the pronunciation of it at some stage. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Damien O'Connor" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, August 25, 2012 12:19 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS not speaking characters correctly. > JAWS 11.
