I had a problem with JAWS 12 coming up very slowly, but Windows came up normally. I tried everything suggested and finally reinstalled JAWS and now when the Windows music comes on, at the same time I am asked for my Windows Password immediately. I also defragged my system twice consecutively before this would happen so quickly. Now, everything is better than it ever was. This was only my own solution, of course. Just an idea.
