hrumph Flor, if you followed this subject a bit more you would know that he has backup files that he can use.
and since it seems no one else is going to give them to you i will rewrite them for you here! instructions for replacing/restoring your outlook mail from a harddrive backup: 1. open outlook express 2. go to the tools menu and then to options and enter 3. control & tab key to the " maintenance tab", and then tab over to the "store folder ... button and enter on it. 4. shift tab back to the edit field that holds a long string address in it, if you work with the reading keys you will find this begins with C: and ends in a folder, hit home then control and shift and end together to copy this string. 5. paste it into note pad for use later 6. close out and I do mean close as in its no longer running, outlook express. 7. go to note pad and select and copy the entire path you copied to it in step five previously, from start (C:) to finish. 8. bring up the run dialog box, and paste the path into it and hit enter. now you will be in the folder where the .dbx files are at for your outlook express account. 9. go to your saved backup files, copy them, and then paste them into the folder you opened up in step 7, oking all the replacements. 10. now restart outlook express and check your inbox, it should have the backed up messages in it. please save this set of instructions. inthaneelf -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2012 4:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Major e mail issue with outlook express Still and all, the files may be corrupted beyond repair.
